The paper focuses on the aerodynamic characteristics of the parachute container hatch door with various design parameters in its separation from the reentry vehicle. Dynamic meshes in the FlowVision package were used in numerical calculations. Not taking into account the gravitational forces, we obtained the trajectories of movement and the kinematic parameters of the hatch door, as well as its aerodynamic characteristics for various design parameters. The study revealed the cases in which it is possible to avoid collisions with the reentry vehicle.
