Analytical method of solving a Hertzian problem in a ring laver of arbitrary thickness is offered. Its basis is in the usage, of Airy stress functions in the series. The law of variation of contact pressures is in the form of some infinite series containing infinite number of unknown constants. They are defined by two ways.
