Methodology of dynamic analysis of high-speed rotor systems with fluid-film hearings is presented in this paper. The present day problems (self-exciied, chaotic, parametric vibrations, dynamic characteristics of new hearings) of experimental research of rotor systems with fluid film bearing are discussed. The information-measuring system for the experimental research that was developed on the base of LabVlEW software is described. The model-based approach to vibration diagnostics of rotor systems and forming of diagnostic characters of faults of rotor systems with fluid bearings is discussed. Some questions of development of software for calculation of dynamic characteristics, experimental research and vibration diagnostics of rotor systems with fluid filur bearings are described.
