Frequency asymptotic form of a steel bar

Several thousands of the steel bar eigenfrequencies are determined. MSC.Nastran software is used. Numerical convergence is obtained. Icrease in the mode number results in the eigenfrequency crowding effect, i.e. frequency asymptotic form. The frequency asymptotic form does not depend on whether the bar is free or clamped.
