The work is devoted to the life time estimation according to the wear criterion of the thread of the planetary roller screw mechanism, loaded with an axial force. The knowledge of friction forces and moments values allowed to perform calculations of the thread wear and the life time of the planetary roller screw mechanism (PRSM).
