Displacement method in problems of nonlineartough rods lateral deflection

The definition of the law of conservation of power under pure symmetrical bending of rods on the basis of calculating the material power dissipation by means of deflection has been proposed. The example has been solved and it has been shown that a new formula for critical time in the problems of rheonomic rods buckling can be obtained by the displacement method.
