Numerical simulation of meniscus shape parts calibration by liquid process medium

The research of the stress strain state of the meniscus shape part has been carried out at the stage of the liquid process medium loading and subsequent discharge by the finite element analysis. The relation of the springing and the workpiece geometric parameters and the external pressure applied is obtained. The dominant influence of the meniscus curvature radius and of its height on the springing value is established.
