The design procedure for an executive elastic element in the form of a screw cylindrical spring, made from a shape memory alloy is stated. Physically nonlinear equations of a material condition are derived on the basis of the phase transitions chart. An example of calculation of a round crosssection element is given under assumption that the hypotheses of the flat section and undistorted radius are true.
