Simulation models of the traction switched reluctance electric drive to solve standard design problems

The structure of the simulation model of the switched reluctance electric drive and possibilities of its implementation by means of MATLAB are considered. The choice of the most rational ways to take into account the nonlinear properties of the electric machine in the model depending on current tasks when designing the drive is justified. Examples of application of the developed models are given.
