By method of simulation modeling we received vibrograms of oscillations of the instrument and the preform at stage of face milling with the fixed and modulated speed of cutting created by a special two-rim hob. On the basis of regularities of regeneration of auto-oscillations the character and the structure of dominating oscillations of technological system was analyzed. It was found that the use of the modulated speed of cutting changes the structure of oscillations in a technological system, raising its dynamic stability.
