The mathematical apparatus of the deflected mode analysis of thin round plates (disks) with a variable profile of section along a radial direction is developed. Plates are in compound motion at which relative and translational motion is the rotation around intersected mutual-perpendicular axes. Comparison of results of numerical calculations to data of experiments is instanced.
