This article discusses a question of computer-aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM) in the automobile industry and the corporate management. It is offered to use multi-purpose tool system based on a production model of knowledge representation. Capabilities of such system are illustrated on the example of parameter calculation in the chain transfer.
