This article presents the methods of pipeline risk evaluation at the maintenance in a zone of butt welded connection with the account of residual welding current. Results are presented for the numerical analysis of crack-propagation resistance in the pipes of the pipeline with a rated working pressure. This part of the analysis of crack-propagation resistance can be also applied to other welded materials.
