The new approach to diagnostics of a residual resource of bearing elements in machines on its fatigue and strength properties is examined. Milestones of the solution of a problem are given, i.e.: curve construction of the fatigue properties for investigated material, definition of the reduced stress and equivalent number of loading cycles in the construction and its residual life calculated in equivalent numbers of those cycles. Definition of dangerous positions taking into account the accumulated fatigue damages, reduced stresses and the equivalent number of loading cycles is implemented by means of new experimental deformation sensors of integrated type with variable sensitivity towards cyclical amplitude after the short operation period of investigated material together with sensors.
