We have obtained the classification scheme in problem of fibre motion with respect to rough cylindrical surface. The scheme include the next factors: statics or dynamics; accounting or unaccounting of fibre thickness; accounting or unaccounting of change for cross forces in the contact zone. We have defined the possible factors for further classification schemes of solutions in the analyzed problem.
