The questions of numerical simulation of tribological systems applied to braking devices of lifting-transport machines are considered. The mathematical model that allows determining the temperature of friction elements and wear of friction facing during the process of friction is developed. For the first time the processes of heat buildup, heat exchange, thermoelastic and contact deformation, wear which take place on the friction surfaces are considered in a single approach taking into account the contact thermal conductivity.
