A non-uniform rod with rigid bodies hard-mounted or elastically mounted in certain sections is used as a model for finding lowest (beam) natural frequencies of transverse oscillation during the investigation of ship hull dynamics. However energy equipment blocks may have foundation frames commensurable with a hull. In this case they must be simulated by two-support rigid bodies; that is by bodies elastically mounted with a hull in two sections at a sufficient distance from each other. A proposed technique makes it possible to modify the initial parameters method and to include two-support bodies in a standard calculation procedure.
