The paper presents results of a research aimed at determining parameters of a mathematical model for computing the working fluid flow in the flow path of a high-speed turbine used as the downhole hydraulic motor in drilling the wells. The developed model makes it possible to forecast highly accurately energy characteristics of the designed hydraulic turbine; it could be used further as a starting point in optimizing the flow path to improve the turbodrill efficiency.
