The paper proposes a method for stamping the sheet blanks to obtain the load-bearing structural elements made of the polyetheretherketone-based carbon fiber reinforced plastic, as well as for the further product molding. It analyzes features of molding the brackets, and effect of the process temperature on the structure and the physical and mechanical properties. The sheet blank stamping method has the following advantages over the other molding methods: increased productivity by reducing the process time and reduced energy costs due to the shorter production cycle. The paper considers a sample of the load-bearing structural element made of the polyetheretherketone-based carbon fiber reinforced plastic using the proposed technology and the selected process mode parameters. It studies features of the sheet reforming into an element and the product state after cooling in the bending area. Microstructure is analyzed, and the physical and mechanical properties are assessed. Study results confirm a possibility of manufacturing complex-shaped elements from the carbon fiber reinforced plastic based on the polyetheretherketone using the domestic materials available for mass production.
