Ultra-jet hydrotechnologies application for the diagnostics process implementation of parts and materials is considered. A review of studies related to implementation of ultra-jet hydrotechnologies and an analysis of the results obtained with their help are conducted. The literature review is based on the dissertations materials with a search depth of up to fifteen years. Both solved and promising problems of the application of ultra-jet hydrotechnologies as a diagnostic method in mechanical engineering are considered. It is proven that ultra-jet diagnostics has innovative potential.
