The analysis of foreign forms and methods of solving engineering problems by creative teams at industrial enterprises is of great importance. In this paper, the forms of organization and the work of creative groups at industrial enterprises in France are considered. The basic principles of organization and work of creative groups including the principles of participant selection, motivation, psychological climate, and leadership roles are discussed. Working in creative groups is based on activation methods and the methodology of technical creativity. The application of foreign and domestic activation methods is analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages are outlined. It is noted that efficient international problem-solving techniques are poorly implemented in our country. In order to form practical skills of future engineers, the international methods of solving technical problems are recommended to use in technical universities. These techniques can be improved by taking into account the specialty, subject, course goals, objectives, and other factors of the educational process. This new approach enhances the efficiency of working with students and demonstrates the importance of analyzing international methods for solving engineering problems.
