It is offered to induct additional data in the form of a profile efface cross-section into drawings of edge tools with the screw flutes represented in academic year projects on an edge tool. Sizes of such a profile can be used for designing the tool of the second order. Empirical formulas for parameters calculating of cross-section of a spiral drill are resulted.
