The article covers the construction of the geodetic network in the form of an automated information system for coordinate and time support of pipelines with the use of the global navigation satellite systems. This progressive method of obtaining the survey results for the planned-altitudinal position of pipelines provides to estimate the strength margin and residual life of the pipeline in the monitoring mode of its condition. The most significant economic effect from the introduction of the geodetic network is expected when it is involved in the project of the pipeline under construction.
