Designing high pressure fuel pumps for diesel accumulator systems

The article considers the design methods of the most important part of new common rail accumulator electronic fuel supply systems. The selection of high pressure pump, main technical solutions and failure parts under the pressure up to 200 Mpa are discussed. The construction of pumps designed at the BMSTU and their test results are presented.
