The analysis of the given parametric models describing the performance of magnetorheological damping devices has been carried out. The peculiar properties, advantages and disadvantages of the given mathematical models have been highlighted. The further area of research has been outlined to develop the mathematical description of the magnetorheological damping devices performance.
