Experimental and theoretical investigation of operating modes of supersonic gas ejectors with cylindrical and conical mixing chambers

The hypothesis used by a number of authors for a long time in the theory of supersonic gas ejectors with cylindrical mixing chambers has been disproved by means of experiments and calculations. The possibility of existence of two various critical operating modes is shown experimentally for the first time for gas ejectors with a conical mixing chamber at the same ejection coefficient. Satisfactory agreement of experimental results and calculations is obtained.
