By using a new implicit modification of the method of large particles, the multivariate numerical simulation of the inlet valve stem piston engine purge has been carried out. As a result the design recommendations to improve the flow characteristics of the system have been obtained, making the gas exchange better and hence, increasing the basic operating characteristics of the engine.
