The paper describes a developed testing device that enables to measure the main characters of small-size (micro) turbines, such as angular momentum and pulse of working fluid, directly in the real operational conditions. Device design guarantees the better precision of experimental measurements in comparison to the established analogs. On the basis of experiments the developed research method enables to find efficiency, flow coefficient, loss factors and flow outlet angles of micro turbines. The obtained results may be utilized to develop and improve the high-speed small-size turbine drive gears for various destinations.
