In the article are examined the diagram and the principle of the work of new type without the crank piston heat engine on the basis of three-dimensional cam gear. The urgency of solution of problem by an increase in the degree of utilization of energy of working medium in the cycle of similar type machines is indicated. Is noted the circumstance that in connection with heat engines of such type to solution of the named problem can contribute the realization of cycle with the prolonged expansion (in particular, such, in which the duration of the expansion of working medium it exceeds the duration of its compression). Are proposed the equations, which make it possible to calculate the parameters of state of working medium and indices of the cycle of this machine.
