A rate of effectiveness was offered for liquid cooling system of tractor diesel engines. Index includes the amount of heat removed from the engine and power consumption for moving heat carriers in liquid and air circuits. The choice of efficient liquid and airflow through the fore cylinder diesel cooling system was made basing on the rate offered.
