The article deals with the technology of engine operation simulation, including intracylin-der processes, gas exchange, mechanical losses and gas dynamic noise simulation. This paper describes the configuration of a designed exhaust system, that allowed the engine exhaust noise level to lowered and its power and fuel consumption parameters to be improved.
