A mathematical model of fuel injection and spraying for a high-speed diesel engine has been presented. This model has been developed on the basis of the momentum conservation law taking into consideration the fuel injection law. Calculations for fuel streams development dynamics in the fuel system for the diesel engine (model ZiL-645) and for the pilot fuel injection system with the high pressure fuel pump (model 4TN10/10) have been made.
