One of basic principles of the statistical analysis, allowing to receive authentic results, is a representative sample. Building upon classical theory of statistics and the analysis of road accident, this article proves the necessity of the account not less than 650 cases of accidents divided into 4 groups defining influence of any factor on traffic safety.
