Investigation of the cutting characteristics of tools made of recycled hard alloy

The article deals with the possibility of manufacturing cutting tools completely of the tungsten carbide powder, obtained by methods of processing of worn out cutter plates. It has been found out that cutter plates made of hard allow by the recycled zinc method are not inferior to standard plates as to their physical-mechanical properties and durability. It has been shown, that the manufacture of cutting tools made of recycled hard alloy is possible and economically feasible.
