The possibility and necessity of structure management in welded joints of compressor plants technological pipelines made of low carbon and low alloy steels, performed by automatic orbital welding with non-consumable electrode is presented.
It is suggested to use Sv-08G2S wire as a metallurgical method of obtaining fine structure of low carbon welded joint by welding with non-consumable electrode.
It is recommended to use the impulse or step-impulse technology for multi-pass welding as an effective and attainable technological method to improve the structure of welded joints of low carbon and low alloy steels.
