At present, the developed countries are at the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution aimed at developing digital manufacturing. In Germany, where this revolution is known as "Industry 4.0", there is a point of view that the whole existence of manufacturing in the country depends on the ability to create digital technologies that would increase efficiency and quality of manufacturing. Similar programmes exist in other countries in Europe, the Americas and Asia. "Industry 4.0" largely depends on the increasing use of robots in all technological conversions. Extensive use of robotic systems is also required to improve the efficiency and quality of domestic machine-building. It is now necessary to theoretically generalize methods and means in this area. In this paper, the authors present a clear definition of a robotic technology system, build its conceptual model and describe the most effective applications of such systems.
