The article considers the methods of experimental researches of metal-cutting machine tools dynamic processes. The technology of virtual devices is applied to the researches — the environment of graphic programming LabVIEW being a promising applied tool to research physical processes and to manage them due to a high efficiency of the software development and an availability of a wide set of functionality of the programming language and the environment. The developed virtual device to research free fluctuations of the machine tools mechanical systems, providing visualization, processing, analysis and documenting of experimental signals is presented.
