The article considers the opportunities of using the queueing theory elements to analyze the productivity and the reliability of automated machine tool systems. The design formulas, methods and numerical examples of calculations are presented. The offered method for calculation of the automated machine tool systems parameters can be used during the initial stages of designing the automated machine tool equipment.
