Determining materials workability in terms of cost price and processing productivity

The article deals with the geometrical surface roughness created by cylindrical conventional milling and climb milling of plane, convex and concave surfaces. A surface roughness height in the cylindrical conventional milling is smaller compared to the climb milling, also it is smaller in milling of concave surfaces. Such results are explained by the form of the cuttingedge trajectory.
