Purpose of cutting modes When finishing GTE discs taking into account cutting tools coatings

The urgency of optimal cutting speed for turning has been substantiated. The results of stainless steels treatment by tools with different nanostructured coatings are shown. It has been demonstrated than the less a friction coefficient of wearresistant coatings, the greater is an optimal cutting speed. The example of cost-effectiveness calculation for tools with nanostructured coatings has been presented.
