Computer-Aided Design and Strength Analysis of the Components of Air-Gas Channel of the Radial Turbine

A method for a computer-aided shaping of the radial (centripetal) turbine stage components, namely the inlet and outlet nozzles, nozzle unit and the impeller is carried out. Parameterized model of Air-gas channel as well as the three-dimensional model of centripetal turbine wheel of the radial turbine & its components is created. The results of thermostressed state analysis of the impeller within the CATIA (Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application) are presented. Corresponding recommendations for further development and analysis are given.
