The article under discussion deals with the problem of functional dependence of rough-nesa parameter Rmaх of ground surface from the other parameters, which characterizing the microcutting process. This dependence is based on the modeling interaction of cutting edge of abrasive grain with workpiece. The analysis of that dependence also took place. The practical recommendations concerning the choice of the effective methods of dressing depending on the geometry of abrasive grains of grinding wheel were also made up.
