Kinematics of the rotary broaching process

The article considers the method to reduce the axial broaching force when machining polygonal holes by withdrawal of a part of the cutting edge from the cutting zone. That is ensured by providing an additional broach rotary movement. The article describes kinematics of the rotary broaching process, establishes design relations allowing to determine restrictions on main technological parameters.
