Elements of angular velocity plans for three-degree-of-freedom planetary gearboxes providing six forward gears

The most important problem of modern transport engineering is to improve fuel and economic characteristics. One of the ways to solve this problem is to increase the number of drive stages in both manual and automatic transmissions. Most automatic transmissions use planetary gears. The synthesis of kinematic diagrams of such mechanisms is a time-consuming problem. To solve this problem, the elements of angular velocity plans are formulated, which makes it possible to synthesize kinematic diagrams of planetary gearboxes with six forward gears. It is shown how to transform the elements of angular velocity plans into the plans themselves. The obtained elements of angular velocity plans for three-degree-of-freedom planetary gearboxes make it possible to synthesize gearboxes with six forward gears.
