In work the technique of functional modeling (FM) in the notation IDEFO on an example of hardening of surfaces by a method electrospark modify (EIL) is submitted. The analysis of functional model allows revealing effective channels of management of process modify, that promotes purposeful formation of superficial layers with necessary operational properties.
