Design value of grinding pressure, taking into account projected range of grain in a material of preparation on length of an arch of contact in a billet circle and projected range of a heading on bulk magnitude with the edges of scratch scores are analytically gained and experimentally confirmed. As a result of numerical calculation it was determined that there's an involvement of various factors i.e. bulk ratio, constant of friction of grain about billet, wear of a grinding circle and its graininess on grinding pressure and the rectangular components.
