This paper examines the problems occurring in lubrication systems of piston and gas turbine engines, power plants of aircraft, and technical systems of other objects with land, aerial and aerospace application. One of the main problems is the negative process of deposit formation that can lead to emergencies. The existing and promising methods of reducing solid hydrocarbon deposit formations in lubrication systems are classified. It is proposed that magnetic and electrostatic fields could be used in aviation oils to intensify heat transfer and prevent hydrocarbon deposit formation. The results of experimental studies of heat transfer processes in aviation engine oils with and without the application of magnetic and electrostatic fields are analyzed. The results of the research are introduced to the classification of new methods of preventing deposit formation in aviation engine oils. Recommendations concerning the use of electrostatic fields in new lubrication systems of engines, power plants and technical systems of various application and deployment are given.
