The main task when designing a MRAP class armoured car is to increase a mine resistance in order to ensure the survivability of a crew. The task could be achieved by different design solutions of the armoured car body and the use of special seats. The article presents a comparative assessment of the influence of seats securing means in an armoured car on the survivability of a crew in case of a mine blowing up.
