On basis of the elastic-deformation model and the analysis of tribodynamics of friction pairs there has been found an analytical solution for the task of defining the limiting traction properties of flexible mechanical transmission links, which is used for optimization synthesis of belt drives in machine-building and improvement of the flexible bodies friction theory.
