The algorithm of the solution of a flat contact problem of a theory of elastic strength for the barrel and rigid half-plane is offered. The algorithm is founded on a method of minimization of discrepancies of movements by successive approximationses and realised with the help of a finite element method. For the count of a roughness in algorithm of coupling the function of a contact compliance is entered, in which one the approach of layers non-linearly depends on value of nominal contact pressure. Is rotined, that at mesh sizes of the barrel the count of a surface roughness renders essential influencing on a general picture of a state of stress. Is drawn a conclusion about limitation of application of the solution of a Hertz.
